This Craft Store is GRRRRRRREAT!

A few weeks ago I went to this AMAZING little craft/fabric place near Rochester, NY where  for $33 i got about 20 yds of fabric, 3 patterns, and an 'all about sewing' sewing book. All of the items are donated, all of the workers are volunteers, and all of the profits go to the local Senior Citizens' Society. Not only did they have buttloads of fabric, but there were craft supplies, yarn, sewing supplies, partially made and locally made sewn works and more. It was like a thrift store fabric store. Here's the website, and it's called Craft Bits & Pieces. Go there. Seriously.

The Sewing Machine

Here's a handy little diagram I found online that's a pretty good guide to what is what on a sewing machine.

There's a few things it's missing, like showing the bobbin casing and how to wind, and if a machine has special stitch patterns, but this is enough to at least be able read the manual.
